This concept paper sits at the intersection of the literature on meaningful work and ethical AI and provides a detailed evaluation of the ways in which deploying AI can improve or diminish employees' experiences of meaningful work. Meaningful work is defined as the perception that a person's work has value, meaning, or a higher purpose. To understand this concept, we must first explore the nature of meaningful work and rely on philosophical and business ethics stories to establish its ethical importance.

We then examined the impacts of three ways of deploying AI (replacing some tasks, “taking care of the machine” and amplifying human abilities) in five dimensions that constitute a holistic description of meaningful work and, finally, we evaluated the ethical implications. The fairness of the system depends only on the data with which it is trained, which implies that biased data can lead to biased algorithms. In science fiction movies, Artificial Intelligence is represented as a futuristic human creation that will rebel and create a dystopian society and even annihilate the human race. Artificial intelligence has the potential to transform many industries and improve people's daily lives, but it also presents risks if not developed and implemented responsibly. When it comes to using Artificial Intelligence (AI) for outsourcing purposes, there are several ethical considerations that must be taken into account.

Companies must ensure that their AI systems are trained on diverse and representative data sets so as not to create algorithmic bias which could lead to discriminatory practices. It is also important to consider how AI affects power dynamics in human society and business competition so as not to further affect these dynamics. Furthermore, governments need to have a better technical understanding of Artificial Intelligence so they can regulate it properly.
